What greenhouse removal involves
Glass is removed pane by pane rather than knocked out, since old, weathered glass can shatter unpredictably — each pane is handled individually and boxed for safe transport. Aluminium or timber glazing bars are then unbolted section by section, which also makes the frame lighter and easier to carry out through a garden gate rather than needing to be lifted whole. Polycarbonate-glazed greenhouses are more straightforward, as the sheets are lighter and less prone to shattering, though they're still kept separate from glass for recycling.
